SOUTH BLOOMFIELD – Three people were injured and two went to the hospital after a crash in South Boomfiled around 11:45 pm
According to early reports, US-23 Northbound was closed at Ashville Rd. (by Wendys) due to the crash that involved a 2016 Chevy Traverse, a 2001 Civic, and another vehicle. Law enforcement on scene reported that the Traverse rear-ended the Civic that rear-ended another vehicle that was on US-23 Northbound. This resulted in three people being injured. One person was transferred to Mount Carmel grove city, the other to Berger, the third was treated at the scene and released.
The driver of the unknown vehicle was able to drive away with only minor damage to their vehicle, The other two vehicles were towed from the location.
The roadway was shut down for some time but has since reopened.
