HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Kingston man was injured Saturday evening after the vehicle he was driving ran off the roadway and struck a ditch in Harrison Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:48 p.m. Sept. 19, 2026, on County Road 233 (Walnut Creek Road). According to the patrol’s report, a 2007 Honda Accord was traveling northeast when it left the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.
The driver was identified as Kyle L. Clutter, 40, of Kingston. The crash report indicates Clutter was injured and transported by Harrison Township EMS to Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was wearing a DOT-compliant motorcycle helmet, according to the report, although the vehicle is identified as a Honda Accord.
The Honda sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Eitles Towing.
The posted speed limit on the roadway was 55 mph, with two lanes of traffic traveling in both directions. The report lists the roadway conditions as wet.
The patrol report lists operating a vehicle without reasonable control under Ohio Revised Code 4511.202 as the offense charged.
Trooper Josiah Richendollar investigated the crash, arriving at approximately 5:13 p.m. The scene was cleared at approximately 11:31 p.m., according to the report.
The crash remains documented by the Ohio State Highway Patrol under local report number 71-0859-71.
