Update: 18-Year-Old Killed in Pickaway County Late Night Crash

PICKAWAY – Emergency crews are heading to the scene of a car crash with possible ejection on 56 east

According to early reports, the crash occurred in the 8000 block of the route, and they are reporting that the vehicle has overturned. Law Enforcement on the scene said possible fatal crash. One person was ejected and killed at the scene.

Update: Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey reports on February 9, 2022 at 1:00 A.M. his office received a call of a traffic crash on State Route 56 East between Tarlton Road and Zane Trail Road.

When Deputies arrived on scene they located a 2007 Honda Civic on it’s top and located the driver of the vehicle, had been ejected.

Throughout the investigation at the traffic crash scene Deputies learned the 2007 Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on State Route 56 and lost control and went off the left side of the roadway. When the vehicle went off the roadway it flipped and landed over a guardrail and came to a rest over the embankment.


Deputies identified the driver of the vehicle as 18-year-old Jarod T. Noble of Circleville, Ohio. Jarod Noble was pronounced dead at the scene by Pickaway TWP EMS.

Also assisting at the traffic crash scene was Saltcreek TWP EMS and the Pickaway County Coroner Dr. John Ellis.

This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.
