
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Circleville Police responded to 24 calls for service on June 15, handling a variety of incidents that included domestic disputes, a reported protection order violation, a hit-skip crash, trespassing complaints, and traffic enforcement.
One of the more serious incidents occurred at 8:15 p.m. on East Franklin Street, where officers took a report involving an alleged violation of a protection order. Details regarding the incident were not immediately available.
Police also responded to two domestic trouble calls during the day. The first was reported on East Franklin Street shortly after 10:20 a.m., while a second domestic-related incident was reported on Lynwood Avenue at 10:44 p.m. Reports were taken in both cases.
At approximately 7:59 p.m., officers responded to Nicholas Drive for a non-injury hit-skip accident. A report was taken and the incident remains under investigation.
Other notable calls included a stolen vehicle report on North Court Street that was handled by another agency, a suspicious vehicle complaint on Brooke Park Drive, and multiple trespassing complaints on Lancaster Pike and North Scioto Street.
Police also conducted a well-being check on South Court Street, though the matter was turned over to another agency. Officers investigated a juvenile complaint on Walnut Street and responded to found property on North Court Street, where a report was completed.
Traffic enforcement remained active throughout the day. A traffic stop on South Court Street shortly after midnight resulted in a citation being issued. Officers also handled traffic-related complaints and conducted additional traffic stops elsewhere in the city.
Additional calls included a parking complaint on Mulberry Road, an alarm drop on Logan Street, two 911 hang-up calls, a miscellaneous complaint on East Franklin Street, and several extra patrols throughout the city. Most of those incidents were resolved without further action.
Circleville Police continue to encourage residents to report suspicious activity and emergencies through the appropriate channels as officers maintain patrols throughout the community.
