
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — What began as an investigation into stolen wire quickly expanded into a drug investigation Friday afternoon after officers executed a search warrant at a Circleville residence.
According to the Circleville Police Department, officers, assisted by the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant at 577 E. Franklin Street at approximately 1:53 p.m. on July 31, 2026, in connection with stolen property.
Multiple individuals were located inside the residence and detained while officers conducted the search. Police reported recovering the stolen property while also discovering a significant quantity of narcotics, drug trafficking equipment, drug abuse instruments, and other related evidence.
The homeowner was arrested at the scene on drug-related charges. A second man was also taken into custody after officers determined he had an outstanding warrant.
Investigators said additional charges are expected as evidence collected from the residence continues to be processed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
