Brothers, Father Indicted in Federal Drug Trafficking and Obstruction Case

Dayton, Ohio – Three individuals face federal charges stemming from alleged drug trafficking and obstruction of justice activities. According to a recent indictment, two brothers and their father conspired to distribute narcotics and attempted to impede the investigation after their arrest.

The Accused:

  • Chase Alexander Crump (34), Centerville
  • Colin Tanner Crump (32), Centerville
  • Mark Crump (56), Englewood

Charges:

  • Chase and Colin Crump:
    • Narcotics conspiracy (2 kilograms+ methamphetamine, 100 grams+ fentanyl analogue, cocaine) – potential sentence: 10 years to life imprisonment
    • Maintaining a drug premises (Centerville residence)
    • Conspiring to obstruct justice (phone destruction)
  • Mark Crump: Conspiring to obstruct justice

Allegations:

  • Between November 2023 and January 2024, the Crump brothers allegedly distributed methamphetamine, fentanyl analogue, and cocaine in several Ohio cities.
  • At their Centerville residence, half a kilogram of fentanyl analogue was allegedly found.
  • During a search of their parents’ home near Englewood, additional fentanyl and a firearm were allegedly discovered.
  • Following their arrest in January 2024, Chase and Colin Crump, according to the indictment, conspired with their father via jail calls to hinder the investigation, including attempts to destroy a phone.
