Chillicothe — Tim O’Hara was the next in the series of ‘brown-bag’ luncheon meet-and-greets at the headquarters of the Republican Women of Ross County.

The Republican primary candidate for Ohio Congressional District 2 introduced himself on February 15th at the corner of Water and High streets in Chillicothe.

O’Hara in his ‘brown-bag’ chat.

Although his campaign points out his career as a marine infantryman and drill instructor, O’Hara explained his more than 20 years of business franchise experience with Radio Shack, Verizon, LaRosa’s Pizzerias, and Dunkin’ Donuts – the last including the new one at the corner of Western Avenue and University Drive. (He supplied pizza and donuts for the lunchtime chat.)

He said he was the first candidate to endorse Trump. Like Trump, O’Hara admitted he did not have any governing experience and is a political outsider – but said that Congress does not need career politicians, but businesspeople.

Hear him in his own words in the below video interview. You can also find him on “X” (Twitter) and on his campaign website.

The next meet-and-greet at the headquarters of the Republican Women of Ross County will be 5:30 February 21st with Jason Link, running for Ross County Commissioners. The incumbent for that seat, James “Oody” Lowe, will be there 6pm February 26th.

O’Hara lives in Hamersville, in Brown County.
