PICKAWAY – A man has been arrested after assaulting a Walmart employee while attempting to shoplift in Circleville Walmart.
According to early reports, Pickaway sheriff and Circleville Police were called to the scene of a man running from Circleville Walmart after shoplifting and assaulting a lost prevention employee during his escape.
Police found the man inside McDonald’s and arrested him
Police found a backpack that the suspect had ditched but it was also found with his name on it, and full of shoplifted items from Walmart
26-year-old Stoutsville man, Matthew Antony Christian was arrested and charged with Petty Theft and Obstructing Official Business.
