Rosan Ward, 73, of Ashville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at Mount Carmel West ER in Columbus.

She was born on Dec. 6, 1942, in Ashville, to the late Edward and Bessie (Horsley) McGlone.

Rosan was a graduate of Ashville Harrison High School. She retired from ALSCO (formerly Reynolds Aluminum) after more than 35 years, where she worked in purchasing and marketing. She also worked alongside her husband on their farm and spent time volunteering at the Ashville Area Heritage Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Larry Ward, in January 2016; as well as brother, Frank Nolan McGlone; and sister, Carol Tussing.

Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Connie McGlone of Circleville; nieces and nephews, Doug (Tammy) McGlone of Circleville, Bonnie (Ranie) Wohnhas of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, Jeff Tussing of Columbus, Brenda (Ron) Miller of Grove City and Jill (Bill) Kaikis of Westerville; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; best friend, Cora Bethel; good friends, Jules and Linda Henson, Charles and Peg Egbert, Tom and Sherri Camden, Don and Carol May Younkin and Larry and Sharon Arthur.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct 10, 2016, at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, with Pastor Vijay Buck officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville.
