Circleville Police Respond to Variety of Calls Across City

CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Circleville Police handled a wide range of calls for service on April 15, 2026, responding to 35 incidents throughout the city, according to the department’s daily report.

Officers conducted multiple traffic stops during the day, issuing both warnings and citations at locations including Circleville Plaza Drive and South Pickaway Street.

Police also responded to several disturbance calls, including one on Lancaster Pike where a report was taken, and another on U.S. 23 South that did not result in a formal report. A domestic-related incident on North Scioto Street led to one individual being transported to the hospital.

A number of well-being checks were conducted across the city, with most individuals found safe. However, in at least one case on East Main Street, officers were unable to locate the subject.

The department also handled fraud and theft complaints, including a fraud report on East Franklin Street. A theft call on South Court Street was marked as unable to locate upon officers’ arrival.

Civil matters made up a significant portion of the day’s activity, with officers serving multiple civil process papers at various locations, including East Franklin Street, Stella Avenue, and Georgia Road.

Additional calls included parking complaints, a traffic jam report, and a 911 hang-up that was referred to another agency. Officers also responded to a suspicious person call on Parklawn Drive and an open door investigation on West High Street, where a report was taken.

A warrant-related call on Walnut Street resulted in officers being unable to locate the individual, while another warrant report was taken on Island Road.

Several calls, including extra patrols and alarm drops, were checked and found to be secure.

Authorities continue to encourage residents to report suspicious activity as officers remain active throughout the community.
