The cases ranged from vehicle thefts and disorderly conduct to mental health crises and traffic violations, with several investigations ongoing.
The day began with a warrant arrest at 12:08 a.m. on Columbus St. and a non-criminal juvenile call at 1:10 a.m. in the Harbor Freight parking lot on N. Bridge St. A serious concern arose at 4:38 a.m. on E. 4th St., where officers responded to a male threatening suicide, with the investigation continuing. At 8:29 a.m., Justin Sopher reported two motorcycles stolen from his Cleveland St. property around 3:00 a.m., classified as motor vehicle theft.
Disorderly conduct incidents included a physical altercation at 8:33 a.m. on the 800 block of Adams Ave., where David Lott and Samuel Presser were cited after voluntarily engaging in violent behavior. Further reports came at 10:27 a.m. on Old Eastern Ave. (Allens Pharmacy injury crash), 9:05 p.m. at Super Expressway Drive Thru (domestic dispute), and 11:12 p.m. at Poplar St. and E. Traffic stops revealed fictitious plates at 10:07 a.m. on N. Bridge St. and motorcycle law violations at 12:50 p.m. near Main St. Crashes were documented at 12:37 p.m. on N. Bridge St., 4:01 p.m. on W. 5th St., and 6:53 p.m. on N. Bridge St. at E. Main St., with a citation issued in the latter. Other incidents included a hit-and-skip at 5:11 p.m. on Old Eastern Ave., an unruly child call at 5:46 p.m. on N. Brownell St., a dog confinement issue at 6:50 p.m. on E. Main St., and a missing juvenile report at 11:56 p.m. on W. 7th St.
