
FAYETTE COUNTY, OH – The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred early Saturday, June 21, 2025, at approximately 6:55 a.m. EDT on SR 753 between US 35 and Robinson Road in Union Township, as reported at 2:45 p.m. EDT today. The incident resulted in one death and left another driver injured.
Preliminary findings indicate that a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado, driven by 32-year-old Daniel Hunt of Springboro, was traveling northeast when it veered left of center, colliding with a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 17-year-old Marcus Bentley of Washington Court House, who was heading southwest. Bentley was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Hunt was transported by ground ambulance to Fayette Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight for treatment.
The investigation remains ongoing. Assisting agencies include the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, and the Ohio Department of Transportation. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
