AMANDA – Sheriff, Alex Lape states that on January 19, 2023, members of the Fairfield County Investigations Bureau, along with the Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force conducted a search warrant in the 300 block of Oak Street in Amanda, OH 43102
A search warrant in the 300 block of Oak Street in Amanda, OH 43102. During the execution of the search warrant, it was discovered that Justin Boyd, age 34 of Amanda was in possession of material that contains the nudity of a minor. Which was found by use of an electronics K9 sniffing dog from Franklin county. Franklin County K9 Ruger located a laptop computer hidden under the cushion of a sofa in the suspects residence.
Justin Boyd was arrested and charged with one count of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented, material or performance. Justin Boyd is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
