ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Circleville woman is facing multiple felony drug charges and misdemeanor impaired driving charges following an indictment by a Ross County Grand Jury.
According to Ross County Common Pleas Court records, Kayla M. Walker, 33, of Circleville, was indicted on May 29, 2026, on five charges, including:
- Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, a fourth-degree felony
- Possession of Cocaine, a fifth-degree felony
- Three counts of Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI), first-degree misdemeanors
Following the indictment, prosecutors requested a warrant for Walker’s arrest. Court records show the warrant was issued on May 29 and later returned by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office on June 11, indicating Walker had been taken into custody.
Walker appeared for arraignment on June 12 before Judge Michael M. Ater. During the hearing, the court set bond at $25,000 cash or surety.
If released on bond, Walker will be required to comply with pretrial supervision conditions, including weekly drug and alcohol testing, according to court records.
A pretrial conference has been scheduled for July 10, 2026, in Ross County Common Pleas Court.
Jail records indicate Walker was being held in the Ross County Jail on a warrant related to the drug possession case at the time of her arrest.
The case will continue through the Ross County court system in the coming weeks.
As with all criminal proceedings, the indictment contains allegations only, and Walker is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
