
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe Police officers handled a wide range of calls throughout the city on Tuesday, Feb. 3, according to the department’s daily media report.
Shortly after midnight, officers were called to 611 Laurel St. around 12:12 a.m. for a reported domestic disturbance involving two sisters. The incident was classified as disorderly conduct.
At 12:40 a.m., police responded to 468 Vine St. following a report of a stolen vehicle. The call was later determined to be non-criminal.
Around 2:48 a.m., officers were dispatched to McArthur Gardens for a report of criminal trespass. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
Later in the morning, officers responded at 7:38 a.m. to the 300 block of East 4th Street for an unresponsive male. The incident was classified as a non-suspicious death.
At 8:26 a.m., police were sent to 1490 N. Bridge St. after a report of a suspicious person. During the encounter, officers investigated a complaint involving drug abuse instruments. That investigation remains ongoing.
Minutes later, around 8:40 a.m., officers responded to a traffic crash near Main and Paint streets, involving a driver failing to maintain marked lanes. A related hit-skip accident was also reported around the same time.
Just after noon, police investigated a theft from a vehicle reported in the area of South Bridge Street and East Water Street. Officers were dispatched to 82 N. Watt St. in connection with the case.
At 12:18 p.m., police took a report involving an unruly juvenile at the Law Enforcement Complex. The matter remains under investigation.
Later in the afternoon at 4:30 p.m., officers were called to 1080 N. Bridge St., the location of Buffalo Wild Wings, regarding a threats complaint involving an employee. At the request of the business owner, the individual was barred from the property. No further action was taken.
At 5:21 p.m., officers responded to 371 Plyleys Lane, Apartment 82, regarding a reported sexual offense. Police say the investigation is ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
Around 5:51 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 150 block of East Second Street for a report of suspicious individuals. An arrest was made after officers discovered an outstanding warrant.
In the evening hours, police responded to another traffic accident at 1417 N. Bridge St. near Olive Garden at 6:55 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
The final reported incident of the day occurred at 11 p.m. on Scioto Avenue, where officers responded to a call involving a runaway child.
