14 People Die in Overdoes in Last Three Days in Franklin County

FRANKLIN – Franklin county coroner took to social media again this week to report a massive number of overdoses in Franklin county again this weekend.




“We have seen 14 people die of overdoses in the past 72 hours, Dr. Anaho Ortiz said on social media, “Please heed the warning below, go to findtreatment.gov for info on treatment and contact Central Ohio Harm Reduction for narcan and fentanyl test strips.”

In the social media post the Doctor doesn’t identify that Fentanyl is to blame this time, but she implies it with asking for fentanyl strips, and in the past the doctor says fentanyl is usually the Narcan resistant drug that kills drug users more than most.

A warning shared by the doctor gives advice of using Naloxone, go slow with use of illegal drugs, and never use illegal drugs alone.

On October 6th a similar warning was posted from the doctor after 18 people died of overdose in four days.

18 people have lost their lives to overdoses from October 2 till yesterday. Please spread the word:
