Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Jason T. Calder, 24, of Kingston Court, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was ordered to be held in the county jail pending disposition.

– Cruz D. Call, 24, an inmate at the Lebanon Correctional Institution, pleaded guilty to illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a governmental facility. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison.

– Christopher O. Clark, 29, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison.

Jesse J. Day, 22, of Huston Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. He was sentenced to 24 months in state prison (suspended), three years of community control, intensive supervision program and a community-based correctional facility program.

– Kathy M. Giffin, 37, of Dearborn Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to four counts of possession of heroin. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

Cody McKibben, 26, of Commercial Point Road, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to time served in the county jail and must complete the Pickaway Area Recovery Services intensive outpatient program.

– Tyler R. Moore, 19, of Oak Hill, pleaded not guilty to failure to comply with the order or signal of a police office. A pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 10.

– Daniel P. Murnane, 33, of Wilmington, pleaded not guilty to non-support of dependents. A pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 10.

– Brian Speakman, 49, of Tarlton Road, Laurelville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail and must continue with the intensive supervision program.

– Derek J. Wallace, 27, of Kenton, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison.

– Colin M. Walsh, 27, of state Route 22 East, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison.
