Former Logan Elm High School Choir Director Recieves Four Years in Prison for Sexual Battery of a Minor

CIRCLEVILLE OHIO – Judge P. Randall Kneece handed down a four year sentence in the Pickaway County Court of Common pleas against Dan C. Jones, age 48 regarding a 2018 case involving sexual battery of a minor.

Jones, first indicted on December 7th 2018, was the subject of much discussion after being placed on administrative leave by Logan Elm High Schools in late 2017. The case eventually stemmed into six counts of sexually-related charges involving a minor. In May of 2019, Jones pled guilty to three counts of sexual battery involving a minor.
