Chillicothe – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a Commercial Vehicle Fire on US-35, near mile post 30, in Jefferson Township, Ross County, Ohio.

On January 14, 2020, at approximately 9:48 A.M., a 2000 Kenworth semi, driven by Michael Liverman, age 32, of Ronda, North Carolina, was traveling westbound on US-35 near milepost 30, when the cab of his semi caught fire. Mr. Liverman was hauling five pallets of laminate wood flooring. No damage was sustained to the trailer or load during the fire. The semi was fully engulfed with flames and extinguished by the Jefferson Township Fire Department.

No injuries were reported.
