PICKAWAY -The Teays Valley Educational Foundation has once again sponsored the D.A.R.E. program for all Teays Valley elementary schools. The Foundation recently presented a $4,000 check to the district. According to the D.A.R.E. website, “D.A.R.E. envisions a world in which students everywhere are empowered to respect others and choose to lead lives free from violence, substance use, and other dangerous behaviors.”
“We are grateful to the Foundation for continually making it possible for our students to take part in this beneficial program,” South Bloomfield Elementary principal Bruce Bryant said. “Students really enjoy their time spent with Deputy Dale and learn about topics that assist them to make healthy and positive choices.”
