Thousands Without Power in Southern Ohio, Some Will Not Restore Overnight

SOUTHERN OHIO – South Central power company is reporting that 2/3/2022 6:30 PM: Outages continue to increase with 271 separate outages with 17,555 members without power.

The company says that they will continue to work through the night, and we won’t stop until all outages are restored. While crews are working as quickly and safely as they can, we expect many outages to extend at least into tomorrow.

According to national weather, temperatures will drop into the teens overnight leaving some people without electricity in their homes.

The company says that they are experiencing high call volumes at this time and if you are not able to get through try again.
