Southern Ohio Sheriff Mourns Loss of Deputy on Valentines Day

Highland County- Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera announced Tuesday that the Highland County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of Deputy Ryan Miller, who passed away unexpectedly February. 14 at his home.

Deputy Miller was an OPOTA-certified deputy and served as a corrections officer and a dispatcher for the Highland County Sheriff’s Office for 20-plus years.

“He will be greatly missed by his peers and the community,” the sheriff said.
