South Bloomfield Elementary kindergarten teachers Carrie Garner and Bethany Stephens recently received a $599.85 grant to purchase Headsprout, which is an online reading program for kindergarten through fifth grade students that provides teachers with an adaptive, individualized reading program.
“We would like to thank the Teays Valley Education Foundation for approving our Headsprout For Kindergarten grant. We plan to use the funds to purchase an online reading program for each kindergarten student to use during this school year. By using this program daily, we hope to see great progress in reading,” Garner said.
