ROSS COUNTY – A Delivery driver claimed that he was in fear for his safety after claiming he was chased from a property he delivered food to.

According to Ross County Sheriff’s office on 4/16/23 at 9:30 pm they were called to Christy’s Pizza and spoke to a delivery driver that said that during delivery there was a payment issue, and the customer became enraged and chased him off the property. He claimed the man said that after the chase, “Wait I’ll be right back.” and then back into his house to retrieve something.

Management at the store said that they called the customer during the delivery explaining to the customer the payment issues that made the man lose his temper.

Ross County Deputies followed up with the man on Arlington Road and he agreed that they had a payment issue argument that made him mad but he claimed he never stepped off the porch.

Deputies are still investigating the issue
