Chillicothe – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Liberty Hill Road in Ross County.
On September 9th, 2019, at approximately 12:13 A.M., a 1994 Chevrolet 1500, driven by Austin Ward, age 20, of Chillicothe, Ohio, was traveling northeast on Liberty Hill Road, south of Rozelle Creek Road in Ross County. The vehicle crossed the center line, went off the left side of the road and struck a ditch. Mr. Ward succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by The Ross County Coroner.
Huntington Township Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
