ROSS COUNTY – A woman who is part of Project Lifesaver was found wandering in the streets of Chillicothe by a bystander who assisted in getting her home.
According to Ross County Sheriff’s Office, on May 05, 2023 at approximately 10 pm, they was dispatched to the 1100 block of William Trotter Drive in reference to an incident that occurred on Western Avenue. Upon arrival, contact was made with a female who stated that she located an elderly woman walking in the roadway who was very disoriented.
The elderly female was found to be on the Project Lifesaver list and was disoriented. She was transported by squad to ARMC for treatment
Project Lifesaver is a free who are caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease, autism or other conditions that make them likely to wander away from caregivers, or who have difficulties communicating with rescuers. Project Lifesaver bracelets can help rescuers find a loved one who has wandered away.
