Popular Haunted Attraction Structure Collapses, People Seriously Injured

PIKE – A stage collapsed last night during a entertainment show at Dogwood Pass.

Since the beginning of October Dogwood Pass has offered Horror and entertainment including sword swallowing and fire eating with an adult horror haunted house. According to Pike county sheriff the real horror came when entertainment collapse on stage. Injuring several people.


According to reports that on Saturday night, October 10th at 10:00pm, Pike County Dispatch received a call reporting a stage had collapsed at Dogwood Pass, 722 Adams Road in Beaver. It was reported there were two people with broken legs, one person with a head injury and one person was having seizures possibly due to a head injury. Both USEC and Beaver fire Departments responded to the scene along with Pike County EMS Squads 3, 4 and 7. Portsmouth Ambulance and Med Care Ambulance responded to the scene as well. Both MedFlight and AIREVAC were called but were unable to fly due to conditions.
