Richard Ryan Teets, 32, of Ashville, passed unexpectedly March 16, 2017, while visiting in Florida.
He was born Oct. 30, 1984, the son of Richard and Robin (Martin) Teets of Ashville and Hollie (Clark) and Mike Walters of Florida.
Ryan was previously a member of the United States Army Reserve and worked as a truck driver.
He was a loving son, brother and father.
Ryan was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Teets; and a brother, Justin Daniel Teets.
He is survived by his loving parents; sister, Nicole Teets; brothers, Paul Wesley Teets and Brandon Clark; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Martin and Mr. and Mrs. James Clark; children, Collin Richard Mackey, Adasyn Tatman, Izeyah Teets, and Dameon Schomann; special aunt and uncle, Carla and Bill Teets of Laurelville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Cecil Scarberry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help the family with the expenses for the memorial service.
