Cora Ruth (Greenlee) Spaeth, 87, of Columbus, passed away on Sept. 26, 2016.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1928, in Pickaway County, to Finley E. and Nellie M. (Stonerock) Greenlee.
On Dec. 19, 1950, she married Earl Edgar “Moose” Spaeth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband on June 7, 1973; brothers, Wilbur H., Jerry and Clifford G. Greenlee; sister-in-law, Bonita Greenlee; brother-in-law, Roger Diltz; and nephew, Patrick Diltz.
Cora worked for many bakeries and retired from Big Bear Bakery, Columbus, and worked at Beulah Park, Grove City. She was a graduate of Pickaway High School.
Cora is survived by one brother, Wayne (Joann) Greenlee of Grove City; two sisters, Betty (Charles) Waidelich of Circleville and Helen Diltz of Kingston; sister-in-law, Frances R. Greenlee; and by many nieces, nephews, good friends and neighbors in Columbus.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
