Dear Editor:
I am writing to express my support for Thomas Clark Zwayer for Clerk of Courts. I have known Tom since he attended high school with my niece and know him to be an upstanding and trustworthy person. Tom has always been known for his outgoing and friendly personality.
Throughout his life, Tom has married and raised his children here in Pickaway County and has still always found time to give back to our community.
Tom has previously been a member of the Clearcreek and Harrison Township Fire Departments, as well as many other civic organizations.
After obtaining a criminal justice degree, Tom worked with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Ohio Department of Public Safety for over 30 years. He still works in a supportive role for the Ohio Clerk of Courts providing technical and administrative expertise.
I feel it is time we bring a younger person to the office with fresh ideas and new energy.
Please vote for Thomas Clark Zwayer on Nov. 8.
