Bonnie Gaye Ruh, 71, of Greenfield, died at 2:16 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at her home after a three-year battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1944, in Marianna, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Worley and Lilley Janey Steele.
On Sept. 26, 1981, she married Jerry Ruh, who survives. Bonnie also is survived by one son, Michael (Heather) Ruh of Greenfield; four sisters, Drema (Lee) Lovejoy of Middleport, Patsy (Doddarall) Ellis of Logan, Jan (Travis) Whitley of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Norma Tolliver of Ocala, Florida; one brother, Arthur (Orene) Steele of Mariposa, California; sister-in-law, Judith Ruh of Pipestone, Minnesota; and sister-in-law and best friend, Sandy Coffman of Lancaster.
She is preceded in death by two brothers.
Bonnie was a 1962 graduate of Marion-Franklin High School. She retired from Showa Aluminum in Mt. Sterling after many years of service.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
