Larry Noble Congrove, 71, of Laurelville, went to be with our Lord on March 3, 2016, at Berger Hospital.
He was born on June 29, 1944, the son of the late David and Leola (Morgan) Congrove.
On Oct. 24, 1967, he married his wife of 36 years, Virginia (King) Congrove, who preceded him in death in 2004.
Larry is survived by his son, Robert (Beverly) Congrove, of Circleville; grandchildren, Dean Randol and Megan (Jevan Stewart) Congrove; great-grandchild, Bransyn Congrove-Stewart; brothers, Tom (Kathy) Congrove, Jim (Helen) Congrove, Keith (Debbie) Congrove, and Roger (Sue) Congrove; sisters, Geneva Smith, Maryanne Weaver, Ellen (Cecil) Roe and Pam (Mark) Martens; and several other special family members and friends.
Larry was predeceased by his parents; wife; and sisters, Shirley and Gloria (infant).
Larry was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes and NASCAR. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He attended church at the Salt Creek Valley Church in Laurelville. Most recently, Larry was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, with Rev. Jim Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow in the Meade Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Monday at Hill’s.
