CIRCLEVILLE – Sarah Kovar has been named financial services officer trainee for Farm Credit Mid-America in Circleville. Farm Credit is an agricultural lending cooperative serving farmers, rural residents and agribusinesses throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Kovar will serve rural residents in Jackson, Lawrence, Pickaway, Pike, Ross and Scioto counties.
Kovar brings a strong agricultural background to Farm Credit. She earned a degree in agricultural business with a minor in meat science from The Ohio State University in 2015. Kovar previously worked for Gerald Grain Center during summer breaks and in the administrative offices at the College of Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences while at Ohio State.
Kovar is from Fayette, which is located in Fulton County. She said she is very excited to be working for Farm Credit and plans on diving in head first.
