Marilyn L. Minney, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away 4:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, in Signature Health Care of Chillicothe following an extended illness.
She was born on March 8, 1947, in Chillicothe, to the late Oscar and Gladys (Bowles) Davisson.
Surviving are children, Brenda (Walter) Stevens, Larry (Peggy) Minney and Tina (Richard Detty) Minney, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Randy (Shelby) Stevens, Brandy Stevens, Ashley (William Saylor) Minney, Breeann Minney and Steven McCoy; great-grandchildren, Christian Chaney, Kaitlyn Stevens, Mckenzie Steele and Caden Steele; sisters, Carolyn (Jack) Corder of Circleville and Helen “Diane” Hougland of Chillicothe; and a brother, Marvin “Jack” Davisson of Chillicothe.
She was predeceased by her father, Oscar Davisson; mother and stepfather, Gladys and Archie Hayburn; and brothers, Gene, Dick and Eldon Davisson.
Marilyn attended church at Signature Health Care.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, in the Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Randy L. Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home.
