Pickaway County OH- A serious crash involving two Honda Civics occurred over the weekend on October 3rd, 2020, causing three to be transported to area hospitals.
According to a Sheriff’s report obtained by Scioto Post, 28-year-old Chelsey Pelfrey of Williamsport was north on Water Street, turning left to travel west on U.S. 22 in a 2000 Honda Civic and turned into the path of another vehicle traveling east on U.S. 22.
The other vehicle, a 2002 Honda Civic driven by 25-year-old Branson Robers of Logan OH collided with the driver’s side of Pelfrey’s Civic causing catastrophic damage.
Pelfrey had to be cut from the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt. Her two passengers, a one year old and nine-year-old whom both were in the passenger font seat were not wearing seatbelts as well and were removed from the vehicle by people at the scene, according to witnesses.
Scioto Post was on scene not long after this crash occurred and found a stereo from Pelfrey’s Honda Civic more than 15 yards from the scene, located on the sidewalk where it had been knocked out of the vehicle due to the serious impact.
Medflight transported at least two from the scene to Columbus hospitals.
Pelfrey remains in the hospital, but we were unable to get the updated medical condition of the children in her vehicle. Robers refused treatment at the scene but his passenger was checked out by medics and released.
