CIRCELVILLE, Ohio — A 30-year-old Pickaway County man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to felony drug possession charges in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court.
Kyle Caldwell was originally arrested on November 19, 2025, after law enforcement officers found him in possession of bulk quantities of both methamphetamine and fentanyl. Following his indictment, Caldwell posted bond and was released.
His release was short-lived, however. On July 27, 2026—roughly two months after posting bond—Caldwell was arrested again after court officials determined he had violated the terms of his release.
In court this week, Caldwell entered guilty pleas to two felony counts:
- Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Felony of the third degree)
- Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound (Felony of the fourth degree)
The judge sentenced Caldwell to 18 months in prison on the first count and 18 months on the second count. The sentences will be served concurrently at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC), giving him a total prison term of 18 months.
