From firefighter-led scrambles to traditional park traditions, local organizations have coordinated a massive lineup of events featuring thousands of hidden eggs and high-value prizes.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet community breakfast or a high-speed “mega hunt,” here is your complete guide to the 2026 season.


Early Season Hunts: March 21 – March 28

  • Pickaway Craft Mall Hunt: Kick off the season on Saturday, March 21 (10 AM – 6 PM). Search for hundreds of candy-filled eggs hidden throughout the mall in Circleville.
  • Logan Elm FFA Chapter Hunt: Also on March 21, head to Logan Elm High School at 10 AM for an egg hunt featuring Easter baskets as top prizes.
  • X Church Mega Hunt: A massive event in Canal Winchester on Saturday, March 28 (12 PM – 2 PM).
  • Derby Garden Club: Start Saturday, March 28 with a free community pancake breakfast and family hunt from 9 AM – 11 AM.

Easter Weekend: April 4 – April 5

Saturday, April 4: The “Grand Slam” of Hunting Saturday is the busiest day of the year for Pickaway County families. Plan your route carefully:

  • 72nd Annual Kiwanis Hunt: The legendary Circleville Kiwanis hunt begins at 9 AM sharp at Ted Lewis Park.
  • Ashville Easter Parade & 65th Annual Hunt: The day begins with the VFW Post 7941 Auxiliary hunt (10 AM) at Marvin Webster Memorial Park, followed by the 65th Annual Ashville Easter Egg Hunt at Ashville Community Park. The festivities culminate in the South Bloomfield & Ashville Easter Parade at 1 PM.

Held at the local Pickaway County fairgrounds, this “skill-building safari” features hands-on experiences, Disney Princess appearances, bounce houses, and a scavenger hunt, all designed to connect families with vital health and wellness resources.
