Ohio Fire Academy Offers Free 36-Hour Volunteer Firefighter Course

REYNOLDSBURG, OH (May 6, 2024) – The Ohio Fire Academy is inviting individuals interested in serving their communities as volunteer firefighters to enroll in their upcoming 36-hour course.

The course, designed to equip aspiring firefighters with essential skills and knowledge, will be conducted over two weekends in August. It will commence at 18:00 on Friday, August 16, and conclude at 18:00 on Sunday, August 25. Participants will benefit from free tuition, meals, course materials, and dormitory accommodations provided by the academy.

It is important to note that registration and completion of prerequisite information must be done at least six weeks before the class commencement date.
