ODNR- Three Wildlife Officers to Receive Medal of Valor for Life-Saving Assistance to Officer Shot

WAYNESVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife is hosting a Medal of Valor ceremony at the Spring Valley Shooting Range on Monday, June 28, 2021. The Director’s Medal of Valor is awarded to ODNR employees who exhibit life-saving assistance.
 
This event recognizes Ohio Wildlife Officers Jason Keller, Eric Lamb, and Matt Roberts. The officers rendered life-saving assistance to a fellow officer, State Wildlife Investigator Kevin Behr. Officer Behr was shot by a white-tailed deer poacher while responding to a landowner complaint on December 20th,
