NEW HAMPSIRE – New Hampshire will allow its mask mandate to expire on Friday April 16, 2021 being the first state in New England to drop this mandate.

“As fatalities continue to decline, as hospitalizations remain manageable, and as vaccinations continue to increase, the state’s mask mandate will not be renewed tomorrow,” said Governor Chris Sununu.

The governor says that with the mandate going away that will not stop some businesses to require mask wearing in stores, much like other requirements.

The governor says that with the mandate going away that will not stop some businesses to require mask-wearing in stores, much like other requirements.

The governor says that he will give the control to the people, “New Hampshire residents know how to keep ourselves and our neighbors safe without a state mandate just as we did before the winter surge.”

Cases surged in New Hampshire in November through December much like the rest of the US, but decline started in January, and hit a low for 2021 in March. Since then cases have been on the rise.

Are you for mask mandates, or do you agree with the governor that the people should be able to make decisions.
