NEW ORLEANS – National weather is confirming that a large tornado has been confirmed to have hit the city of New Orleans around 730 pm.
According to their report the 9th ward of the city was hit by the tornado, and a possible second has touched down in Lake Pontchartrain.
Most of the power in the city was knocked out quickly, and video captured on several pages has confirmed major damage has occurred. A video has been posted on facebook here: https://fb.watch/bWclXVzJlv/
