Mount Sterling OH- It’s that time of year again here at Deer Creek State Park. Firewood collection begins today through February 28, 2021. This year it will be Pine trees and Ash trees that are along the side of the road leading into the campground. Come and get as much as you can.
Collection is now Sundays through Saturdays during daylight hours only. Chainsaws may be used on the downed trees. Vehicles may not be driven off the roadway and traffic flow should not be hindered.
Collectors will ensure all necessary and appropriate safety measures are taken and that all current state orders and recommendations are followed related to COVID-19.
