CIRCLEVILLE – On Thursday September 27, 2018 the Circleville Police Department along with the Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (I.C.A.C.) conducted a residential Search Warrant at 208 Town Street in the City of Circleville.
Detectives conducted a month long investigation into the resident, 25 year old Eric T. Coyle. During the investigation Detectives were able to compile enough probable cause for the Search Warrant of the residence. Mr. Coyle was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Felony 2 Pandering Obscenities Involving A Minor, 10 counts of Felony 2 Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, 3 counts of Felony 4 Pandering Obscenities Involving A Minor, and 3 counts of Felony 4 Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor. Mr. Coyle was transported to the Pickaway County Jail and will be held until his initial court appearance in the Circleville Municipal Court.
The Investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected. The Circleville Police Department would like to remind residents to always keep a watchful eye on their children while using the internet.
