Pickaway County OH- Scioto Township fire was able to contain a serious fire and stop the spread into a home today.
According to the department Just past 4:15 pm, Scioto Township Fire was dispatched to a report of a fire on Cottonwood Place in Chestnut Estates. Upon arrival, heavy fire was coming from the garage area and front of the house.
Crews quickly went to work, and using a combination of a deck gun and hoselines, extinguished the fire, containing it to the garage area. All residents and pets were able to get out of the house and no one was injured. Jackson Township, Pleasant Township, and Harrison Township were also on scene
