CIRCLEVILLE – Harbor Freight has almost finished renovation to the old Gordmans location, and plans to open at the end of the month.
The renovation started in June of this year, since then inside and outside has been renovated including painting the entire front of the building.
Recently we announced that the tool company opened a location in Washington Courthouse. The company also runs a storefront in Chillicothe Ohio.
The building is located at 23543 US 23 the former Peebles, Gordman building. Peebles who operated the store for many years was rebranded to Gordmans in 2019 and they declared bankruptcy in 2020 more on that story here: https://www.sciotopost.com/circleville-gordmans-closing-due-covid-19-orders-filling-bankruptcy/
According to workers at the location, Harbor Freight is planned to be open before the end of the month. Our visit to the location saw that most of the isles have been erected, and product is already in the stores.
