FCSO Detectives say on June 16, the victim received a phone call informing her that her granddaughter was in jail. The woman was provided an “attorney’s” phone number.
The victim contacted the “attorney” and was told she must provide $9-thousand in cash to bond her granddaughter out of jail. The man caught on camera showed up at the victim’s home in a white sedan to collect the money. It was all a scam. Despicable? We think so, too.
