Franklin County – A man who waited to be rescued after turning his expensive car into a boat this morning at the US-23 and 270 this morning.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office, they were called to the location after a report of a Black Maserati Levante and a driver being stuck in the water at the intersection. When they arrived the man had found his way out of the waters and onto the bank. A tow truck was called in to remove the vehicle, and the Sheriff’s department issued him a fine because he had driven around the high water flood signs to attempt to drive though the waters.
