OHIO – Gas prices slumped for around two weeks but now we will see an upward trend again according to gas experts.

Since Monday gas prices have dropped two cents and the average cost of a gallon in the area has been around 3.83 per gallon, that’s lower than it was weeks ago when we so record-high gas prices. That lull is now over through with oil barrel prices rising most likely that extra cost will head to the pump soon.

Barrel prices as of this posting were around 118 per barrel trending upward since last week.

What that means is within a few days gas prices will head upwards, maybe even by tomorrow. Gas prices in Columbus have already been pushed to 3.99 per gallon.

The average cost of gas as of this posting on Sunday was 4.03 per gallon in Ohio.
