Washington Court House Police Sergeant Jeff Heinz was in the area of Eyman Park Sunday conducting speed enforcement. Sergeant Heinz observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit and initiated a traffic stop. During that stop, it was learned that one of the occupants had a felony warrant and she was taken into custody. During the search incident to the arrest, Sgt. Heinz located approximately 22 grams of suspected methamphetmine and approximately 3 grams of fentanyl. The defendant was transported to the Fayette County Jail and charged with Trafficking in Drugs, a Felony of the Second Degree and served with the outstanding warrant.
