Circleville, Ohio – The Circleville Police Department responded to a series of incidents throughout the city on September 23, 2024, reflecting the ongoing commitment to community safety.
The day began with a report of domestic trouble on Fairview Boulevard at approximately 12:35 a.m. Officers took a report on the situation. Later in the early hours, two suspicious vehicles were checked on North Court Street, both deemed okay.
At 3:43 a.m., police responded to a theft in progress on Seyfert Avenue, but no report was taken as the situation resolved without incident. A well-being check on East Main Street at 5:45 a.m. resulted in the subject being gone upon arrival.
Throughout the morning, officers addressed various well-being checks and alarm drops, including an alarm on US 23 at 10:55 a.m. and another well-being check on Lancaster Pike, which required squad transport to the hospital.
By midday, multiple civil process papers were served or marked as unable to locate, with several checks conducted at different locations across the city. A fire reported on Pontious Lane was quickly contained, and no injuries were reported.
In the afternoon, police issued warnings during traffic stops and continued to conduct checks for suspicious persons, with one report taken for a suspicious individual on North Court Street.
